Air Jordan VIII (8) Shoes

During the season in which the Chicago Bulls won their 3 peat championship, the Air Jordan 8 came out and Michael scored his twenty thousandth point in the NBA.

Unlike the Air Jordan VII, the Air Jordan 8 was heavy and sturdy as can be. There were all kinds of new details in the design of the Air Jordan VIII, and even velcro straps for extra support.

Because of its thickness, the Air Jordan 8 was prone to making peoples feet very hot and there are some who think this may be why Michael was troubled with athlete's foot in the middle of the basketball season. This was also one of the heaviest shoes in the Air Jordan line.

The retro Air Jordan 8 shoes came out in 2003. There were not a lot of variations to the Air Jordan VIII but the retros were hugely successful. There were only 4 colorways that came with the AJ8 when it first came out.
